Gone are the days where one income or one job is enough to live, enough to have a good place to live, good food to eat, and a good vehicle and nice clothes to wear.

@kateatherley There are always exceptions to rules. That’s a given. Yet, many just want to knit and feel swatching is a barrier to Fun Time. When really, swatching has to be reframed to BE the beginning of Fun Time. Once confirmation of tension through swatching is there, you know it’s time.

@kateatherley As long as it “kinda sorta fits”, that’s all that matters. Fit has long been a privileged matter concerning body type and what size number is the most “attractive”. I often wonder how many have had the experience of a well-fitting garment. And I mean, a truly flattering fit.
