@ID_AA_Carmack That is effectively what EtherCat does, it is used for industrial control. Each device has two ports, and the packets are sent up the cable until it reaches a device with only one connection and then the packets are return back down the daisy chain.
@Floppy@JeniT Getting a balanced set of data across race, age, gender is hugely challenging, and why it is companies like facebook with access to photos have the best face recognition. More open project to collect data I think are the way forward, like Mozilla did with their Voice project.
