ASHTON SMALL HAS ENTERED THE CHAT. 🎬🔥
Today, MoYA hosted the content creator and author Kagarara and his team to explore personal branding, creative work, disability inclusion and accessibility, and the journey of turning a personal story into a published book.
The conversation highlighted the power of creativity, resilience, and storytelling to inspire personal growth and unlock opportunities.
MoS @XandrineUmutoni said Kagarara’s story sends a powerful message: Rwanda is a country for everyone, where every person deserves dignity, respect, and equal opportunities. A person’s worth is not defined by their physical abilities, but by their humanity and potential.
Minister @jnabdallah thanked @ImagineIWR, @ashton_small1 and the team for their collaboration, creativity and achievements in storytelling. He urged young people to understand who they are, recognize their potential, and pursue their talents with excellence. “Be creative and strive for excellence.” Kagarara is an inspiring example of what young people can achieve when they turn their stories into impactful work.
Kagarara emphasized that progress begins with having a clear vision and well-defined goals. He encouraged young people to take their ideas forward and turn them into reality without being discouraged by negativity, while giving their best to make them succeed.
When you take the first steps to implement your ideas, those willing to support you will find you already making progress.
“I never gave up or allowed those who believed my disability would prevent me from achieving great things to hold me back. That is one of the reasons I have become who I am today.” - @ashton_small1
Thank you my dear brother President @CyrilRamaphosa for your warm congratulations and offer of support. We look forward to working with you and all who share this vision as we make this a truly African Grand Prix in every way possible, and take motorsport to new heights on our continent.
On behalf of the government and people of South Africa, I offer warm congratulations to His Excellency President @PaulKagame and the government and people of Rwanda on securing a 10-year agreement to host the Formula 1 African Grand Prix.
South Africa shares in the pride with which Rwanda is preparing to fly the chequered flag for our continent with the hosting of a globally prestigious event at the planned Bugesera circuit from the early 2030s.
This contract is a recognition of the capabilities of the Rwandan nation and of our continent more broadly.
As host of the first Grand Prix on African soil in 1993, and organiser of other major global events, South Africa will be happy to provide any support we may be invited to share.
The F1 African Grand Prix is another lustrous addition to Rwanda’s growing collection of top international events, including the UCI-classified Tour du Rwanda cycling race.
Congratulations, Rwanda.
You are in pole position to make all of Africa proud and take motorsport to new heights.

A man can stay up til 2 a.m., wake up at 6, be in debt, broke, alone, and still have faith that one day, everything will work out. It's called being a man.
TRUST THE PROCESS.
Disability doesn't mean inability.
