@startledmare Maybe it helps if the partner you were with is someone you genuinely liked as a person & friend to begin with. It also helps if one has sorted their own issues or bound their wounds, bc they tend to love others more & are at peace w/ themselves. Neither seems to be the case here.

@nathaliejacoby1 I'm born again so I would say that being protected by the Lord helped a lot😁! Apart from that, I wore a face mask, had 2 vaccines and a booster, washed my hands regularly & I took vitamin C and pro-biotics daily: a combination of all that may have me prevented me from infection.

I read the thread & nobody was forcing beliefs on anybody - there is also no argument here (unless you think that "arguing" with people means "disagreeing with them"). Forgiveness is granted to people who repent. But how can you repent if there is no awareness of your wrongdoings nor acknowledgement of who He is.

@tanita_tikaram Apparently so. Once you start seeking "success"as defined by this material world/current culture, your mind gets wired differently, to such an extent that things that used to shock you or move you (poor people, hate speech, greed, vulgarity, etc) don't affect you anymore.
