@AdamBLiv Always to-the-point math-based analysis on adrenaline. So good! The value you contribute to our community is immeasurable, Adam! Profound thanks!
I hear you, George! I'm re-thinking a more secure custody position, as I was made aware that my address and other information from the hacked shipper was made available to nefarious actors. Unsettling, to say the least! It's painful to think that I have to re-enter "the system," but at this point in time, it's the prudent path. Thanks for your thoughts. I'm personally looking into AnchorWatch, as it has an associated insurance aspect that would appear to mitigate a potential wrench attack. At any rate, happy hunting for an answer that we're all searching for!
For what it's worth, I always look forward to your interviews. I'm 76 years old, so older than you, but in the same ballpark! :)
Some folks predicting STRC buybacks. This is what the math would look like by selling MSTR to do so last week... using last week's closing prices.
Issue $250M of MSTR at $91.67 and repurchase STRC at $84.94.
2.73M new MSTR shares: +0.72% dilution
$250M buys 2.94M STRC shares
$294.3M of preferred claims disappear
$44.3M discount captured
$35.3M in annual dividends eliminated
Net BTC reserve grows 0.84% while shares grow only 0.72%.
CEBE:
143,743 → 143,918 sats/share
That is +175 sats/share and a +0.12% CEBE yield.
Issue common near CEBE NAV. Kill preferred 15% below par. Increase sat exposure and also kill $35.3m of dividend obligations.
That is exactly what active capital management is supposed to look like.
We'll see what gets reported!
@zerohedge QTR needs to watch the Phong Lee interview by Danny on WBD several months ago, where Phong specifically stated that if Strategy's mNav fell beneath 1.0x, they would be willing to sell bitcoin.
