@taffytude@davisjarrafooty What the government spends on SBS in a year, it spends on “defence” in 2 days.
To put it another way, one one-thousandths of income tax goes to SBS. If you pay 20k tax, that’s $20. If you pay $20k tax, that’s $1,600 on defence.
SBS ain’t sending you broke bro.
@LFCMacca1892@LimbzHQ It was the end of the tournament and the end of a game played in sweltering heat.
The Italians had given up.
Pressing was a thing long before this, defences didn’t sit back like this all the time.

@Try_2B_Rational@JoshEakle “I want to act like I’m sensible here - see my name - and say that you can’t jump to conclusions. And yet while I do so I’m going to assume what was in the kid’s letter, and what I’m going to assume is that it was full of propaganda from the side I detest.”
@AndrewFaulkner9 Giving away control of a big part of the Australian summer means there is more chance the pathways to building good Test cricketers becomes less and less the priority.
@alfi589@danbrettig This will give IPL owners more control over cricket in Australia and therefore there is more chance the pathways to Test cricket are damaged, intentionally or not.
@Mehyouthink@adampeacock3@RalphyHeraldSun@FOXFOOTY@CorbinMiddlemas True he’s not looking at it as a fan of the sport.
Neither is anyone in western Sydney.
No-one in western Sydney wants the AFL around. You’ve spent millions trying to force Auskick onto kids and given away freebies left right and centre.
Take the hint.
@CapitalCityCody@MarkGottlieb The exact numbers are kind of unimportant. What’s important is that the people of Western Sydney don’t care for the game or the club.
@VinceRugari It’s almost as if tribal games should be played in areas where they care about the sport!
No-one in Western Sydney ever wanted them, their member numbers were bs and their crowds were half freebies.
Go start a team in a place that actually plays the sport.
@daisycutterzine@Yogesh7504@127J_H No football fan cares what players are paid unless someone pays more lure away one of their players or they think a player is playing poorly and that money could be better spent on other players.
They certainly don’t announce birthdays by talking about how much they’ve earned.
@Michael95494331@ProFootballTalk So…your argument is that there should be no investigation because the investigation might show nothing?
Why investigate anyone then?
