@HDTVTest Hi, is 4K120 possible currently on macOS machines? I’m having a hard time getting it to work on my LG CX OLED. I’ve heard if you have a display with DisplayPort inputs it should work. Not an option of course with my OLED. Thanks!

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@caseyliss Have you transcoded any 4K BD files? I saw your blog post about tc speeds, I’m getting about 15fps using Don’s scripts but then again I’m using 4K files. Cheers!

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@donmelton Hi Don, I hope you’re well! Is there a kind of best practices for combining two separate transcoded .mp4 together? Working on LOTR extended, first 2 parter I hit. Thanks!

@reederapp Any chances of getting Taptic feedback on iPhone when scrolling articles?

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@_DavidSmith Thanks David. Im using it as a 2x2 small widget on my Home Screen. Have not tried on the Lock Screen, however.

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@_DavidSmith Is is possible to have a URL in a widget not go through Widgetsmith first before going to the link/app? Using widget to redirect to Photos app. Thanks!

@SnazzyQ Did you go to Hapuna Beach? Place is 😙👌

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@gruber Who’s your NL team?

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@donmelton That was it! Thanks Don. I’ve noticed the detect-crop gives different results on 4K MKV than the standard 1080p MKV. Is there a reason for it?

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@donmelton Hi Don, do you know why my Shellscript wouldn’t be working for detect crop? Getting an ‘ffmpeg not available’ message. Image of script attached. Thanks :)

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@donmelton Weirdly, the same command ‘transcode-video --crop 0:0:240:240 tpd41.mkv’ works by itself in the Terminal.

@OvercastFM My Apple Watch 4 cannot control the volume on my phone’s sound output. Once I touch the volume dial, the volume goes to 0, and I cannot make any changes to the volume on my watch. Has this been reported before?

@clovercommerce Hello, can a Clover Solo and Clover Mini be tethered to form a Duo-like experience in the future? Thanks

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@donmelton Hey Don, how’s the M1 transcoding performance looking? I haven’t been keeping up on developments.

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@hWoBradders @wwfclassic Some serious Bruiser Brody vibes right there

[Craig Clavin @CraigClavin]

@gruber How do you feel about your Sixers going 7 games with these Bucks in the postseason? Very evenly matched.

@PushinUpRoses Have you watched the episode of Murder, she wrote where Bill Maher kills someone? S5E13
