@farzyness@SawyerMerritt I’ve tried for weeks (at least 15 times) to get a Robotaxi in Austin and always just get the same “come back later” message. Pretty sure the app is still just smoke in mirrors for regular people.
@Timcast@LiquidDeath Also worth noting that @LiquidDeath used to be Alps sourced artesian water and now it's the same as any tap water, Aquafina or Desani.
@Timcast@LiquidDeath Not true of all cans, but yes, @LiquidDeath has fallen to that standard. I know some water packaged in cans that are free from plastic, if you need them.
Here is a man who does not understand economics.
This is really a win for the United States at large and all the people that you represent.
Elon only gets his incentive pay if he creates massive wealth for Tesla shareholders - which includes many public pension plans.
This also means that, if Elon gets $1 trillion, the taxes that Elon will pay to the Federal Government could be more than $360 billion!
And, in fact, it could be far better than that for the government... a tax take as high as $1 trillion!

It also means that our roads will be less deadly (autonomous vehicles are safer than distracted human drivers), our medical costs will be lower (less accidents means less hospital visits) and the legal costs will be lower (less accidents means less lawsuits).
But you'd rather shout into the wind about how "unfair" this is?
NEWS: Tesla has revealed that in Q1 2025, they recorded one crash for every 7.44 million miles driven in which drivers were using Autopilot technology. For drivers who were not using Autopilot technology, Tesla recorded one crash for every 1.51 million miles driven.
By comparison, the most recent data available from NHTSA and FHWA (from 2023) shows that in the US there was an automobile crash approximately every 702,000 miles.
