@HardcoreHistory Listened to the first hour on my morning commute. Over/under on bearded Charles Bronson pic?
And a bonus culinary moment; Sriracha on vanilla ice cream?! Perhaps I'm late to that party but my first thought was, "what...?!" followed by, "I need to try that."
@Huckberry@thenorthface Also had a pair of Red Wing 2233s that I wore for an old job for years. I went through two soles before I switched careers and then they became yard work boots.
@JECurtis_WA Never had table service on a USS, but was still a thing on USNS. Can't speak to small boys but on the LHD the food was the same in the galley and wardroom.
@HerbCarmen Drove 5min and paid $0 to rescue the Southern MD Fat Dog. He excels at the most important dog requirement: he's a good dog.
Virgina Brown Dog was similarly rescued from the mean streets of Pungo. He was also a good dog.
@CarlForsling @propublica@USMC While understanding how an organization " got to Abilene" is important it's also important to understand the difference between contributing factors and directly causal factors.
@CalumDouglas1 Very interesting. I recall reading the USN assessment of a FW 190 in which the test pilots remarked on the low pilot workload due to high automation.
