@LBrownawell Thanks so much. I can’t do them any faster…but I feel like quality IS something still in my control.
…so I will control what I can. Thanks so much for your patience!
I’m hearing from U.S. archaeological and historic preservation experts who have asked if I can share some info about the threat to efforts to enforce federal rules that help make sure we don’t destroy important sites and structures. This is a good primer:

@MccorklePete “I’m ONLY 20 hours in from the beginning” 😂
Ah my friend, it’s I who should thank YOU for being so willing to listen to what we do so diligently.
It is much appreciated on our end.
For those wondering what happened to the show notes/reading lists for HH shows on our website, it was affected by a recent website software update.
We are working hard right now to get it all back up and running. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hey @Uber_Support when you told me a “specialist” would get back to me “in 6 to 12 hours” I thought you meant earth time.🤬
…and you should know that a little research on the internet seems to suggest I’ve really just been blown off.
Why treat your users like this?
@ChrisMancil@Uber_Support That was not my experience. But I hope you’re right (and not just for my sake… I’m a big boy… But what about all the people who don’t have the resources I do and have the same issues?).
@cadaverjim@Uber_Support 😂
I’ll tell you what really bothers me. I can use this platform to help my situation out in this circumstance. But most people can’t do that. How is that fair, right, or good customer service?
@rddy97 Are you referring to the Viking era, or Alexander’s? Regardless, the Roman era is better documented than either of the other two.
Alexander’s WAS well documented, but all the original sources have been lost or reduced to fragments.
If you look at the most recent shows, we have the two Viking shows then right into Alexander. The issue here is the lack of sources (eyewitness accounts especially, etc) in these earlier eras makes the narrative challenge much tougher. I think I’m ready for more recent stuff!😂
@HardcoreHistory That would be great. As we sleepwalk ever closer to WW3, we could really use some insight into how we got to this point. Your American Peril episode could use a sequel.
@JTMoney407 Yeah…and I bought like fifty books for it too. But all the Crusades have a very difficult rhythm to work with (they usually fizzle out for example). I’ve tried several different approaches to try to make it work right…
…it’s an ongoing process.
I think THIS show is what you might want (and if you like it, there’s an “extra” show that goes with it).
Our “Twilight of the Aesir” series picked up where “Thor’s Angels” left off.

@HardcoreHistory The Merovingian dynasty leading into Charlemagne and the Carolingian dynasty would be incredible. Gregory of Tours has one of the best sources to come out of the Dark Ages. The 570-613 civil war has an ensemble of characters that would make Hollywood blush
@aschmitt I’m ready for some one-offs and blitz editions for sure. Have a ways to go before that happens though.
“Buy your ticket, take the ride” as they say.
