@SteveMascord It’s not a cash rich sport, the governing body are poor. The 1895 Cup is not a necessary trophy to add into the season calendar and someone at the top level needs to bin it. Venues cost money, unless you can fill them. Hanging onto Wembley is lunacy too.
@mikelavelle93 I really liked how your boys stood up to the task mate. They had more ball in the second half and you could tell they were growing in confidence. A few games to acclimatise to the speed and you could see them holding their own against most teams.
@SalfordArmy At the risk of pointing out the obvious, the RFL were blamed for rushing through the owners in a previous due diligence process and criticised for it, and now they are likely ensuring careful consideration they are being criticised for taking their time…
@RobboWood@SteveMascord I can’t argue with that perspective. Likewise with Featherstone, who may have intentions to make the start line but are massively struggling financially. North Wales another…
@scratchingshed2 London will benefit from some off the field development, and a positive top 2 finish in the revamped Championship. The @brisbanebroncos should be encouraged to do some community work during their WCC visit in February.
@AaronBower@johnmcfadian@TheJackDearden IMG’s remit wasn’t to do it FOR clubs it was to guide and advise and as far as I can see that’s been fruitful. Perhaps a lack of understanding on most people’s part about their role is causing the lack of appreciation.
