@TheD_Zone@DETROITCCAD@DCCfootball Thanks for chatting with Joshua and all the exposure you give HS Kids. My favorite highlight from the past season. (When Rugby Meets Football): https://t.co/FNSdt3FHZq. .
@MongoSlade64@jasonwhitlock I had the same thought. Like what is the point of this post.
I tried to have Grok translate and it just gave me the shoulder shrug emoji.
“Hope, Resilience, and Moral Compass” - Mrs. Dunphy, Principal at St Patrick of Brighton.
As this week marks the beginning of Catholic School week, I have been reflecting on the past year.
I do believe everything has a purpose in this great story of life.
And those answers are given at the end of life. An event or moment may or may not be for you.
Our boys lost the state semi final last year for football. I honestly believe that was a “steel the spine” moment for our coaches and program. As in we might have won one, but never become the school that we are supposed to be.
And this gets to this year…
We win the Football D1 State Championship.
A little over a month and we have our banquet. About 40 days past the day of victory and we (I) have enjoyed watching highlights, happy for our boys.
About 1 hour into the banquet, a family member has a heart attack, situation where help and ambulance was required. It was a scary incident for sure. The individual survived and was helped by two heros (nurse practitioner and fireman) who happened to be at banquet.
But here is the beautiful moment at the banquet.
During this incident, I was about 10 feet away from the person receiving CPR.
I turn around to see about 150+ high school students, arm in arm, praying for the man and the help. It was wonderful.
See we were reminded that CC(Catholic schools) are not about State Championships.
The school is about raising young men in Jesus Christ. That love God with all their heart, mind and strength and Love their neighbors.
Brotherhood.
Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge.
Yes Mrs Dunphy, you are raising kids with “Hope, Resilience and a Moral Compass”.
Young Men that when they are faced with the challenges of Life know where to turn.

I am not sure…
But the lack of “Editors” or that position in news coverage
Combined with the generated content, AI editing of original content
Combined with automated publishing / workflow
And in general the “business” of 24x7 news coverage
Has really lead to a “free and independent press” that is not valuable to anyone or delivers on the original intention.
I could be wrong.
What happens when you hear truth? When you hear His Truth? How do you react?
We know in the grand scheme of things, His Truth is worth the energy, the fight and even division.
E. Kirk debate in this thread is not “fighting the Good Fight.”
When someone posts something that is not “fighting the Good Fight”, or The God Fight and you feel the need to respond, aka “call them out”…let it be for entertaining debate, dialogue. Not division.
The enemy is lord of Distraction, Deception (Lies).
We all have just been distracted.
Straight up. Beginning of the season, Duke and o line were the question marks. We now know we have the best QB in the state! Every game. Great Leadership, communication and dedication to the work/preparation. Junior Captain! History made. His story just beginning.
Great Shamrock!
