The overinflation of revenues is already very material by the 2013/2014 season, which propelled City to become champions. Everton finished 5th, despite our highest ever PL points haul. Tragically, we were cheated out of a UCL place.

Laughably, SHAM FC tried to say that money topped up by Abu Dhabi was financial assistance for the sponsors. The incredulity of the IC at that line of defence drips off the page.

We know the PL is bent and corrupt. They behaved dishonourably in the two Everton cases.

But here, SHAM FC's cheating is black & white. Worse for them, they were hung from their own rope, when Football Leaks exposed their internal emails. All the PL had to do was follow the trail.
