The UK has concluded that Iran was involved in the incident at the RAF base in Fairford, confirming the IRGC’s willingness to project hostile activity beyond its borders. These actions are unacceptable and must cease. We stand in full solidarity with the UK.

[Ed Miliband @Ed_Miliband]

The UK stands with the International Criminal Court and we stand united with our partners in strongly disagreeing with sanctions imposed on the Court.

The ICC must be permitted to continue its critical work holding perpetrators of the most horrific international crimes to account.

Too right

I couldn’t be prouder to have the opportunity to lead the UK’s amazing diplomats and development professionals 👇

6 years, still no justice. 236 dead. 7,000 injured.
The Beirut port explosion of August 4, 2020 is forever imprinted in every cell of our body. Impunity blows up in your face, literally.
If you're in Lebanon, please take part in the commemoration. Never forget.

It's a huge privilege to take on the role of Foreign Office Minister leading the FCDO's work on Europe, international security, defence & growth. Britain's interests can only be served by close partnership with our European allies & I'm hugely looking forward to the work ahead.

[Mark Rutte @SecGenNATO]

Congratulations to @AndyBurnham on becoming Prime Minister
The UK 🇬🇧 is a leading #NATO Ally and I look forward to working with him to strengthen our shared security

[Chris Rampling @crampling]

My thought exactly. Really builds to our national strength. And one we share with the Netherlands

[Kara Owen @karaowen]

Important statement of intent - to have the new Minister for AI attend Cabinet. The UK’s strength in AI has led to significant flows of investment. But we need to capitalise on what it can mean right through our economy and public services.

[Rob Jetten @MinPres]

I had a good conversation with the new British Prime Minister @Andyburnham. The friendship between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, as North Sea neighbours, is very strong: from trade and AI to the energy transition, and from human rights to our security and defence.

We both recognise the ongoing need to support Ukraine and the leading role the UK plays in the Coalition of the Willing. The Netherlands will also help to strengthen ties between the UK and the EU.

As NATO partners, the UK and the Netherlands are investing in (joint) defence projects and together we are preparing a mission to guarantee freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, when circumstances permit.

I look forward to continuing our cooperation with Andy Burnham. We will meet soon in London or The Hague.

[Ed Miliband @Ed_Miliband]

Enjoyed my first all-staff today at @FCDOGovUK

At a time when democracy, freedom and the rule of law are under threat, our foreign policy will be steadfast in defending our interests and protecting our values.

Now to attend @ASEAN to meet key international counterparts.

[Rob Jetten @MinPres]

We treffen elkaar snel in Londen of Den Haag.

[Chris Rampling @crampling]

Inderdaad.

Good, early call.

Nieuwe premier. Nieuwe regering.

Maar één ding blijft hetzelfde: de toekomst van het VK wordt gebouwd met hechte partners zoals Nederland.

Kanishka Narayan has been appointed as Minister of State (Minister for Artificial Intelligence) jointly in the @cabinetofficeuk and the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade. He will attend Cabinet.

[Ed Miliband @Ed_Miliband]

I am honoured to have been appointed Foreign Secretary.

[Rob Jetten @MinPres]

Wishing every success to the new British Prime Minister @andyburnham. The United Kingdom is an important partner for the Netherlands. We work closely in areas like trade, the energy transition, defence and support for Ukraine.

I look forward to continuing this productive partnership with Andy Burnham. Thank you to @Keir_Starmer. I appreciated our good working relationship.

Today is a day to remember the 298 lives lost in this awful tragedy, and to support those loved ones left behind.

Tomorrow, we continue our work to ensure accountability - holding Russia to account.
