These before and after images of the Watchman's Tower are astonishing. Thank you to @HeritageFundUK, @HistoricEngland and The Historic Houses Foundation for supporting the project which will enable visitor access to the Watchman’s Tower at Knebworth House.
@thomasbrake@theresa_may You are so right. Holiday as normal shouldn't be on the cards...this whole situation is fair from normal, its extraordinarily terrible!
@thomasbrake@jeremycorbyn@theresa_may Spot on....all they are doing is killing confidence, stopping businesses trading and playing with our livelihoods. Its a total mess
Another portico underway - Its a joy to see our stonework being handled in such a careful, neat & precise way - it makes such a difference....I go to many sites where its a very different story!
@dantdm My Son Edmund did this especially for you...I said shall we send it to Dan...He replied "No Mummy, Dan is so famous and popular, that it would get lost and never be seen"😞...Hence sending it to you this way. We hope you have a great Christmas...Thank you Emma x
Drawing up a large Radius, working out special stones that create curved to straights & internal returns...it doesn't matter that we always get it right...if never makes it any less satisfying to see a perfect alignment!
Wotton House - Four Finials standing on the parapet of this beautiful house, at over 6 ft tall they are pretty impressive....we had to replicate what was remaining, another successful project.
Top shelf dusty relics now....but all of these baluster models have been used to create replacement balustrades for many historical Houses & Estates.....What a wonderful archive to projects past.
During installation...The Main Gates at Knebworth House - Phase 4 of works that we have completed, we love the challenge of recreating Knebworth House to its former glory.
