@christinaliu999@Xiaomi@leijun Don't think I am bad with Xiaomi. Got 15T Pro yesterday, and am looking forward to 8000mAh class device with USB3, AF on the ultrawide camera and newer AI support. It is just the 17T Pro that feels like grabbing the short straw. I hope 2027 will be more interesting.
@Xiaomi 18 hours active as a realistic mainstream. 8000mAh class is getting us there.
Wishful: five days to let me decide when I want to and have times. As top rugged phones. Give us 20000mAh with solid main (25mm) camera and macro capabilities, done.
@TechDekhoji Lol first I was unimpressed in the shop with 15T Pro telephoto shots. Way better than my 13T but still meh. On an impulse, I got the 15T Pro anyways, and it turns out the shop had a display piece switched for 15T base edition, because the 15T Pro absolutely kills it. 🤭
@AnxiousHolly@eallan_o Midtier S series are quite MEH, while the Ultra is quite expensive. S24 Ultra in its time was quite good. Bought my mum A54 and was disappointed with materials quality.
@christinaliu999@Xiaomi@leijun Not enough battery, unsure Gemini nano v3 deployment, oncoming prices. For the 17T specifically: 5x reused UWA without AF, USB 2, awful launch price.
@metroTM33 Went to Germany by car. Mum offered her new Skoda Scala. Took old Fabia just in case. Good choice. Berlin streets looked like Detroit ghetto.
@TD_bbboys258@Xiaomi Partially it is insincere, partially "in this class" indeed phones do not get this. It was quite a stretch for 17T. The rest though, together with price, is not very exciting.
@christinaliu999@Xiaomi@leijun The market is already not very friendly. Some segmentation is outright awful. Contemplating on getting 15T Pro as a bridge phone till 2027.
@RealSufiyanKhan If it has AF on the UWA shooter and will be latest AI agent compatible and what not, then it might be a fair proposal. I am afraid it is not so though. And USB 2 still. 🤣
