Many legitimate accounts have been suspended BY MISTAKE with all appeals denied by an automated system. Suspended users can't post or contact others and they can't even chat with support, so no one is listening. The voices of those affected are silenced, @nikitabier.
We are a local newspaper going fully digital (using X as our primary platform) and our X username is crucial for this (all of our branding & marketing feature it). However, the account we created (@PikeRumor) was mistakenly suspended. We created it last year when we first made the decision to go digital but haven't tried to use it until recently. When we finally logged in again for the first time in many months to upgrade the account to Premium, add our branding, and purchase some ads we found that the account was suspended. We are certain that we didn't break any rules because we literally never had a chance to use the account for anything: no posts, no comments, no likes, and no profile photo or bio. We didn't violate any terms of service but all of our appeals are being rejected by the automated system.
@crayonlogic@nikitabier That’s a serious problem, especially for a local paper trying to build its digital presence. Hope they get a real human review soon.

Truth is part of the JinxedSip podcast. He moderates our X space. He is one of the most genuine accounts on X. Is he a bit retarded? Absolutely, but it’s part of his charm.
I think this was a huge mistake by X.
Suggestions to X on behalf of all creators 🚨
Dear Nikita Bier, we creators need these important changes:
1️⃣ Improve the Monetization System
The biggest flaw is that accounts get paused without any prior notice or explanation. That’s not fair.
Users don’t even know which policy they violated. Many accounts are paused for no reason. Appeals only give automated responses no human review.
2️⃣ Give Suspended Accounts a Fair Chance
Accounts that get suspended should get at least one second chance. If the creator accepts their mistake in the appeal, they must be given another opportunity.
Right now appeals are only automated with zero human review.
3️⃣ Introduce a 3-Strike System (like YouTube)
Make it clearly visible in Creator Studio:
• 1st strike → Warning
• 2nd strike → Account paused
• 3rd strike → Account suspended
This way creators will know exactly what they did wrong and can avoid violations.
X, please implement these for transparency and fairness. We work hard building our audience we deserve better support!
I have had this account for 18 years. Before X. Before crypto. Before AI. Before engagement farming. Before slop. Before a LOT of things. I'm not a spammer or a scammer. But I AM very frustrated about having our legitimate brand account suspended for NO REASON (@PikeRumor).
This isn't about follower count or monetization for us, we just want our brand username that we've committed to on all of our marketing material to no be suspended!
🚨 Need help from the @X community...
A friend's account was suspended...
He has submitted multiple appeals, but every time he receives the exact same response (screenshot below)...
The email says:
"Log into your account and complete the on-screen instructions."
But here's the problem:
❌ No on-screen instructions appear on the X app...
❌ No on-screen instructions appear on the browser either...
Has anyone faced this issue and successfully recovered their account?
Any advice or solution would be greatly appreciated...🙏

More accounts are getting suspended, and all we want is for X to notify us when a rule has been violated and show us the post or comment so others have a chance to fix and learn from it.
With the new rules being placed, everyone should try to get familiar with them.
Hey Nikita Bier,
One issue many users are facing is that when X suspends their accounts and they submit an appeal, they receive an automated response.
The response says that the decision will not be overturned, and it also says:
“In order to restore functionality, you must resolve the violation by logging into your account and completing the on-screen instructions.”
However, there are no on-screen instructions on either the app or the website.
Also, many users invest a lot of time into building their accounts. If someone makes a minor violation, they should at least be given one chance. If they appeal and say they will not violate the rules again, they deserve an opportunity to continue.
And many appeals receive an automated reply within 1 second.
Please fix this. We need proper human support.
These emails contain no explanation, @nikitabier. The reason portion is missing / blank in every one. We never used this account for anything so we couldn't have violated any rules. We are finally ready to use it now but it's suspended. Please, can legitimate users get some help?
I would pay $100 (literally right now) if X had an official way to live chat with a real person from @Support for 5 minutes about an issue (even from a suspended account) and have them listen, review it, and pass it along to the proper department. No special favors, just support.
We tried to log in on July 7th for the first time in a while and that's when we found out we were suspended. This wasn't one of the suspensions from the past few days and this has nothing to do with monetization, @nikitabier.
