Faith-Fueled Family Man, Systems Builder | B.A. Urban Studies & Community Development | Texan | Insane expectations—and fully building on the rock of Christ.
If you liked something I shared or reshared and wondered who’s behind it — here’s the short version.
Husband. Dad. Texan. My background is in Urban Studies & Community Dev, so housing, real estate, family life, and how we raise the next generation aren’t just topics to me— vvv
Gary Brecka on white bread:
“The whiter the bread, the faster you’re dead.”
He only eats sourdough. Says white bread is literally made with bleached flour, actual bleach. The food industry doesn’t want to kill you quickly. They want slow, chronic inflammation that keeps you buying medicine.
It sounds like a conspiracy until you realize how much money is made between the food that makes us sick and the drugs that manage the symptoms.
What we eat every day quietly shapes our long-term health more than most people want to admit.
Do you still eat regular white bread, or have you switched to sourdough or cut it out?
Maybe the most countercultural thing you can do is just be aggressively, unapologetically Texan about it. Show up. Feed people. Ask the real question. Stick around after the easy conversation ends.
Be the friend Proverbs 18:24 is talking about.
Proverbs 18:24 separates the man with many acquaintances from the rare friend who sticks closer than a brother. Jesus didn’t call us to be friendly — He called us to love the way He loved. Costly. Initiating. Inconvenient.
@christianpclark I like what St. Louis did with cardinal city. Each sports team/events should have similar mini enhanced districts for full and better experience.
@christianpclark I think it’ll be better for experiencing down town with good planning which seem to be in the pipe line. We’re getting too big to be concentrated anymore.
Today marks the beginning of what some call Pride Month.
For Christians, we celebrate today like we do every day - that this is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.
When we see the acronym LGBTQ, we don’t see sexual identities to celebrate, we see image-bearers of God who are doing what’s right in their own eyes and need the kind of love that points to Jesus and His truth.
The truth is God made us male and female so that a man can leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
God IS love and He has the authority to define it. He calls homosexuality a sin, and holy marriage between a man and woman very good. The most loving thing we can do is agree with God.
We can’t love others by affirming sin. This is my response to why we don’t celebrate Pride Month:
@glennbeck It’s weird I don’t know any body personally that would vote for him but you drive around th city city and you see his signs even next to Catholic Churches. Very concerning. Stay on top of it me thinks. We can’t sleep on this guy. Need a resounding defeat 🤔
DFW is becoming the new center of gravity in America.
North Texas just blew past Chicago to become the third-largest metro economy in the country, behind only New York and LA.
🔵$770B+ in output.
🔵24 Fortune 500 HQs.
🔵100,000+ new residents a year.
That doesn’t happen by accident. Businesses go where they’re wanted. Families go where they can build. Talent goes where the future feels open! The map of American economic power is being redrawn in real time.
Denton is Temu Austin. It's a sea of nose rings, soy boys and purple hair only without tech billionaires, any kind of natural beauty, or a real university.
If you send your kid to college at UNT there is at least a 50% chance they come home for Thanksgiving freshman year a trans commie.
