@the_wilderless My teacher just talks about it as suffering and pain, the direct experience is just pain, and we can learn to be with it... Suffering is when we don't do that and experience the separation that comes by refusing to relate to things as they are. The island of self gets lonely
@RichDecibels Excited to share my translation of my teacher's book "your inner GPS" with you when it comes out... She's got such a great articulation of this
@dthorson I found this helpful, and now want a companion piece, in we look at how NVC and AR can become an escape for people who don't want to tackle anxious attachment
@AnneSelke@KubaFYI Unfortunately not, but would love to be in a place like that if you find it. Currently my best bet is my kitchen, so hit me up if you'd like :)
Just realized taking responsibility for your feelings also means NOT taking responsibility for everyone else's. Not sure who else needs that insight rn, but I hope it helps.
@innerpathing Translating a book rn called Feelings and Emotions: A User's Guide. Lots of insights I've seen in this thread woven into a unified whole (misapplied feelings, feelings replacing the function of others that aren't allowed, and their true powers you can harness for relating)
@the_wilderless Jhana practice + Conscious Release... Message me on Whatsapp for resources if you want them (the chances of me seeing it on here are slim π)
