To give you an idea of how British politics has degraded into deranged radical-right lunacy, just consider what the public reaction would have been had a politician in the 60s or 70s proposed the following:
The great-grandson of Wong Kim Ark, whose 1898 case established birthright citizenship, reacts to today's SCOTUS decision:
"He was one man, only a cook, and yet he stood up for what was right... Today's ruling shows that his victory remains as important now as it was in 1898."
I went for a job interview at Tech Mahindra with hope—but was humiliated for my religion. An employee mocked me after hearing my name, denied my identity despite Aadhaar, and said “Muslims are frauds.” attaching my pics
It’s 34 degrees in London & Brits are burning; rail tracks melting, restaurants turning off fryers etc.
As my wife asked : how did these wimps manage to rule super hot India for so long in their heavy uniforms & elaborate tailcoats?
This is cooler than Indian summers
@KjdParit What fake story story is this….what two person sleeper goes to mombasa? The trains that go have seats expect the new sgr special trains that have airline compartments
JKIA nangsengs. 2 queues and passport checks before + 1 security check BEFORE immigration, Another security check + 2 queues and passport checks AFTER immigration. We must overcome the intellectual challenges BEFORE we deal with infrastructure challenges.
BREAKING: The duty-free allowance for arriving travellers has been increased from KSh 39,000 to KSh 260,000.
This is being heavily hyped as a major "Ruto achievement." But here's the context many reports are leaving out:
This wasn't a special favour. Ruto didn't just wake up and decide to be generous to travellers or the diaspora. The East African Community Customs Management Act (EACCMA) already governs passenger import duties across EAC countries.
In 2024, the EAC Council of Ministers raised the regional duty-free baggage limit from USD 500 to USD 2,000. Kenya is only now aligning its laws with what was already approved at the regional level.
So yes, the higher threshold is good news. But if the EACCMA framework was amended in 2024, why did it take until 2026 for Kenya to fully implement it?
And why is a delayed compliance measure being presented as a brand-new achievement? And why did it take so long to align? You I know why.
If your goods exceed KSh 260,000, KRA will still tax the excess.
United Flight Attendant Applauded For Calling Out Passengers Committing One Of Air Travel’s Worst Etiquette Violations https://t.co/tJOah000Tw via @YourMileageVary
41 years ago today, a bomb destroyed @airindia Flight 182 operated by 'Emperor Kanishka', en route from Montreal to London, killing all 329 people on board.
It remains Air India's deadliest tragedy, claiming more lives than the AI171 crash.
May the victims rest in peace.

I’ve flown enough to know that sometimes vegetarian meals don’t make it onboard. Booking errors happen. Logistics happen.
Being polite has gotten me much further than being outraged ever has. The crew usually finds a workaround.
& if they can’t? I’ve yet to meet someone who starved between takeoff and landing. Not every minor inconvenience is a crises
Hey guys come check this out 👇😝
The lady's name is Usha Patel, a woman of Gujarati origin who was working in Britain.
While travelling on a train, she happened to encounter a Muslim man. As has become common for some people after 2014, the moment they see a Muslim, they seem compelled to start their own version of patriotism.
The same happened here. The moment she saw the man, she allegedly started making abusive remarks like, Go to Pakistan! and Go to Morocco!
The Muslim man, who happened to be a doctor by profession, simply recorded the incident and called the police.
Well, this was Britain not a place where such behaviour earns applause. Instead of cheers, the law stepped in.
The police escorted the lady off the train and she was sent to jail.
Now she's back in Gujarat, enjoying the consequences of the bravery that earned her so much applause.
A Perfect treatment to a Islamophobic lady and lesson to many such mentality People.
