@SenTomCotton do you think Arkansas farmers want to wait until after 8 am for the sun to rise and see it set at 6 pm instead of 5? Vote no for the kids and the farmers. I hated year round DST. #beentheredinethat
@united I understand the why. Now, if I end up in an airport with a long enough layover to visit a United Club that will let me in. I am not holding my breath that I will get in before the end of January.
Got my new @united Explorers card and just got back from my first trip. Disappointed SFO United Clubs in F and G had the dreaded “no one-time passes” sign out before our 17 hour SFO/SIN flight.
Meet Mischa Martin, Arkansas Principal at AxAdvocacy. We are excited to welcome Mischa to the AxAdvocacy team! She is a seasoned leader in government relations, public policy, and child and family services, with a proven track record of driving meaningful, system-level change:
♦ State Government Relations & Public Policy Leader
Mischa brings extensive experience navigating state government, working with legislators, and partnering with providers and businesses to advance impactful policy solutions. She advises clients on legislative strategy, system reform, and stakeholder engagement, helping them operate effectively in complex policy environments.
♦ Executive Leadership in Child & Family Services
Mischa previously served as Director of the Division of Children and Family Services and later as Deputy Secretary of Youth and Families for the State of Arkansas. In these roles, she oversaw statewide programs including child welfare, childcare, juvenile justice, prevention services, foster care, and adoption, and led reforms that reduced the number of children in foster care, improved permanency outcomes, expanded prevention efforts, and contributed to record-setting increases in adoptions.
♦ National Policy & Consulting Experience
Following her time in state government, Mischa founded SHIFT Consulting and later joined Casey Family Programs, where she advised state leaders, providers, and businesses across the country on public policy, system reform, and government strategy, helping shape and improve child welfare systems nationwide.
One of my favorite traditions when visiting Kuala Lumpur is worshiping with Garden City KL. There is a profound sense of community and hope here that feels like home, no matter how far we’ve traveled. 🌍✨ #GardenCityKL#KualaLumpur#SundayWorship#FamilyWorship
As someone who spent decades in family services, seeing my own family thrive in an international environment is a beautiful reminder of why the work matters. No matter where, family is the foundation! (And sometimes that foundation is built on burgers and Cold Stone ice cream!)"
Is Capital One Venture X anti-family or is Priority Pass? Planned changes for lounge access seem aimed at reducing number of children. #prioritypass#venturex#capitalone
I have a daily recording set for ABC World News Tonight with David Muir. I tired of everything being “breaking news.” Who should I start watching? Norah or Lester?
#KLM is overrated! I was looking forward to my first experience with them. Onboard experience has been pretty good. Communication is terrible! Plus because of a change in the flight number of the last leg of my return trip, they canceled and did not rebook and did not notify me.
Hey #arbys where is the (corned) beef? Other half had a little more. Both had some gristle and fat. $5.49. I should have gone to #jasonsdeli And why is #arbys always out of apple pies!
