Un GRAND MERCI à Eddy, le propriétaire du restaurant Eddy situé sur la rue Dalhousie dans la Basse-Ville, d’avoir accepté d’installer notre machine TipTap sur son comptoir afin de collecter des fonds pour notre banque alimentaire locale. Vive l’esprit communautaire et le travail d’équipe !

Un grand merci également à l’Ideal Café pour avoir accueilli (et continuer d’accueillir) une machine TipTap depuis près de deux ans maintenant ! ☕ Et bien sûr, un immense merci à tous ceux qui tapent et font un don pour nous aider à nourrir nos voisins.🥰

Le projet sur plusieurs années réunissant St-Joe’s Supper Table, le Centre Espoir Sophie et le Centre de ressources communautaires de la Basse-Ville prend forme. Hier, nous avons reçu le premier lot de repas préparés, marquant ainsi une étape importante dans la mise en œuvre du projet. Ces repas seront principalement distribués aux familles ne disposant pas de cuisine.

La semaine prochaine, des sessions de formation sur la manutention des aliments et le SIMDUT débuteront également. Si vous connaissez quelqu’un qui pourrait être intéressé, contactez Malika pour plus d’informations : [email protected]

The multi-year project bringing together St-Joe’s Supper Table, the Centre Espoir Sophie, and the Lowertown Community Resource Centre is taking shape. Yesterday, we received the first batch of prepared meals, marking a major milestone in the project’s implementation. These meals will be distributed primarily to families without kitchen facilities.
