Calling yourself a lagosian isn’t an issue, Lagos has its own culture that only ppl who were born and bred there would understand, regardless of their tribe.
My family is from Lagos, but we’ve never lived there, I wouldn’t at all call myself a lagosian.
But it’s ppl calling it no man’s land that’s upsetting cause Lagos is a Yoruba state. The most common language you’ll hear spoken in Lagos after English is Yoruba. You have non-Yoruba ppl who can speak Yoruba just cause they’ve lived there for a long time.
To call it no man’s land is insulting to its history.

I also feel like another reason Maomao keeps him at arms length is for similar reasons she keeps Jinshi at arms length too. Allowing a proper relationship with Lakan could make things very messy and difficult for her politicallly and socially wise. Cause even if he hadn’t married her mother and legitimised her, it’s clear he has a strong sense of devotion and favortism towards her, couple that with her extreme intelligence, her father’s political strength and her numerous connections to several highly influential people, it would make her a serious target.
And we all know the last thing Maomao wants is additional stress.

Cause I feel like a lot of people don’t understand what blacking out is. Blacking out isn’t always sloppy and messy a lot of the time you just look a bit tipsy.
Whenever I blackout absolutely no one can tell. On the outside i look a bit tipsy and generally fine but i wake up the next morning with no memory of what happened before.

I do think it was relatively last minute, like it was thought out and planned probably just not to the extent of what was released. It was probably meant to part of Snezhnaya originally.
