It doesn’t matter how many times you see the devastation of fires, it’s always surreal. This home owner lost everything, but had the best attitude I’ve ever seen. He just thanked us and said, “My wife has been bugging me for a remodel, now I’ll finally get it done!” #GunRangeFire
Trauma is real.
Trauma from parenting. Trauma from poverty.
Trauma from society.
You didn’t deserve or do ANYTHING to be traumatized.
However, you ARE responsible to heal from your trauma. You cannot pass it on. You ARE responsible to let it end with you. #legacyliving
Good luck to all the teachers, students and administrators who are heading back to school this week. Educating our youth as well as our young adults is one of the most important things we can do for our great state. We are grateful for your hard work.

Thanks to our @udotregionone team, work on the Church Street Bridge demolition finished faster than we planned so we only had to close the freeway two nights instead of three. Check out the #timelapse.
Our crews worked hard to create a clearing for folks to get off the mountain in Little Cottonwood Canyon. There’s still a lot of work to do and there is still no estimated opening of the roadway.
