At the end of 2020 I decided to start a travel brand on TikTok.
Today it has over 180,000 followers and makes me around $500 a month.
Here’s how I did it ⬇️
The plan is simple: I give Muse all the context it needs and access to my social accounts.
What I’m committing:
- Ten hours a week, no excuses.
- Budget of $300 a month
- I'll post the numbers here every day, wins and losses.
Starting today, I'm having Muse run my travel media business to see if it can get me to $10k a month.
Muse, metas new AI assistant now controls the strategy, the content calendar, and the revenue plan. I will just execute.
September is tracking at about half of that.
Here are my current audience numbers: 64.8k on Instagram
3.27M views last month
289k on TikTok
5,564 on email
For context: I listen to podcasts in the gym, watch YouTube all day while working, and need constant stimulation while doing trivial tasks.
So now I am only allowed to listen to music during those.
For the next 30 days I have decided to go on a “consumption detox” starting now.
Like many others I feel like my entire day is filled with consuming content.
So for the next 30 days I’ll be documenting my experience cutting out podcasts, YouTube videos, and doom scrolling.
@NicheSiteLady I’ve notice recently that Facebook is blocking adding links in your own page comments recently.
What are you doing instead? Adding a read more with a link in the caption?
Post content every day… good things will happen.
The only downside is it takes a long time to grow an audience, which is why most people quit before they see results.
