3 questions to consider before signing any contract:
Does the contract result in possible harm to my reputation?
Does the contract permit me to make decisions that are ethically aligned with my values?
Is this the best fit for my long term goals?
There’s so much more to consider.
But asking yourself those questions and answering them honestly will help you begin to develop your negotiation strategy.

Creatives, you’re working too hard and doing more than enough of the right things to let something like a bad contract get in your way.
Take a long, hard look before you sign the dotted line.

What are three signs of a "bad" contract?
- It fails to protect your reputation.
- There's no reasonable way out if things don't work out.
- It strips you of your autonomy.

@NordicTrack I think your customers can all agree that it’s motivating to purchase from a company who responds to their inquiries rather than spending time deleting their comments. Keep it up.
@macapplechic The bike is great. @NordicTrack customer service is terrible. If you scroll comments before they get to deleting them, you’ll see lots of the same feedback.
@NordicTrack@DaMtnGoat1 Get a new script NordicTrack. “Oh no!” loses its effectiveness when you won’t even respond to private messages, emails and calls from customers. Stop the stage play and respond to my messages, thanks.
@NordicTrack @Randy_Nowell NordicTrack, stop with this “oh no!” BS everytime someone publicly posts an issue. You’re not surprised anymore so stop feigning it. A response to my messages would be lovely. Soon.
@NordicTrack This is lovely, but what would be even easier is if customers didn’t have to chase you down for a response. I can’t wait to hear back from you.
