Finally, the first version of my portfolio is live. 🥹

Built this in a week. Some components took days and still refused to work, especially the card stacking animation and pre-loader.
I know it can be better—feel free to share your feedback. 🤍
After learning the basics of backend, I feel like actually integrating it into my frontend projects is what will make me understand it better.
Plus, I feel it will make me a much more valuable frontend developer.
Backend finally started making sense today.
I have been trying to learn it for about a week, and honestly, most of it felt confusing at first. But today, something just clicked.💭
Hopefully, by tomorrow, I will have a small project built with what I have learned so far✨🤍
I hate making mistakes.
And i am also a beginner in web development, so I need to reprogram my mind to be more peaceful with the process.
Is there a way to change your mind, to change the way you look at things?
@abcdlikhtahun Honestly 😂😭
I would probably just start crying if that happened to me. Production mistakes + manager’s scolding sounds like my worst nightmare
@abcdlikhtahun You are right. I think I am slowly learning that making mistakes is normal, the important part is actually learning from them and trying not to repeat them. Thank you for reminding me of that.
@aetherician I am still very young, and honestly, I do not know much about these kinds of emotions or how to deal with them yet.
But thank you so much for giving me such a different perspective on this. It is something I will carry with me and genuinely try to follow going forward.
@aetherician Thank you so much for saying this. Honestly, I think this is something I needed to hear because it made me realise that this is actually the truth about myself. I have been so focused on proving that I can create something that I forgot the real goal is to keep improving myself.
@urCodeBuddy Yeah really, coding is teaching me things that have nothing to do with code.
It is making me calmer, humbler, and more patient with myself.
At this rate, I genuinely feel like I will be living like a peaceful monk in a few years.
@aetherician But your life story is really inspiring,
Sometimes I forget how lucky I am.
I have people around me who can guide me, while many are figuring everything out on their own.
@aetherician I never really got the chance to learn these basic things, like learning from people, making mistakes, and being okay with not knowing everything.
I always thought being perfect was a good thing, but somehow, I am starting to realise that perfection can make you scared to try.
@ometiwari18 I read your comment three hours ago and honestly just sat with myself for those three hours.
And now I have a much better idea to work on. Thank you so much for reminding me to take a break. 🫶
@urCodeBuddy I have always been like this, kind of a perfectionist, but somehow this nature of mine just does not work in this field.
I am realizing I need to learn how to be okay with making mistakes and failing
becoming a good developer is also teaching me how to become a better person
@chetan_editzz Sleeping at 4 a.m. is obviously too good.
Going to have a serious debate with my grandfather about this whole “wake up early” obsession.
My head has been hurting since morning, and somehow he is still convinced that waking me up early is the solution to everything.
I guess this is the ultimate step I took toward getting hired:
waking up this early when I have never been a morning person.😭
Finally learning the things I have been avoiding. I really need to get serious about backend now.💻
Meet Sweet, my little baby 🐾
I still can not believe how fast he grew up. I always wanted him to stay this tiny.🤍✨
I do not know why, but his eye color changed too.
