You’re also missing the point: Being a fan is about hope, ambition & competing. Without that it’s pointless. If you just want to support financial success, buy stocks.

@andysharratt @dannys1mps0n You might as well support Sports Direct, they’re financially sound and don’t try to win games either. When you don’t try to compete on the field there’s no point. Stability is great, but i’d rather risk that to win, than not try at all. I’d take extinction over not trying.

@andysharratt @dannys1mps0n What’s the point in having a financially stable club if you don’t try to compete or have a desire to win? On average he spent 9mill per season on players over 14.5 years. To Ashley, the club might as well have been another retail store. I’d argue he’d spend more on shop re-fits.
