🤖 Building the Skills Behind the AI Future
AI literacy isn't just about learning how to use AI - it's about understanding how it works, questioning its output and thinking critically about the technology around us.
Creative Hut's Computational Thinking & AI programme gives students hands-on opportunities to build those skills, using LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI to explore coding, problem-solving, computational thinking and how AI systems learn - including why they sometimes get things wrong.
Available from Reception to Year 9, it's designed to help young people build the confidence and digital skills they'll need for a changing world.
For businesses, it's also a meaningful way to support schools and communities through education-led CSR programmes focused on future skills and real social impact.

A Smartphone-Free School Doesn’t Have to Be Tech-Free
More schools are moving towards smartphone-free classrooms - but that doesn’t mean technology needs to disappear from learning.
Teachers still need ways to run interactive quizzes, get instant responses, keep everyone involved and make lessons more engaging.
The difference? Using technology designed for the classroom, rather than students’ personal phones.
💡 Classwise gives teachers the tools for interactive learning without the distractions of smartphones.
With teacher-controlled Classpads, students can take part in quizzes, games and activities, respond to questions and receive instant feedback - all from a dedicated classroom device.
It’s a simple way to keep the benefits of interactive technology while helping students stay focused on the lesson.

🚗 Amazon brought STEM to CarFest 2026!
Last week, the Amazon Think Big program brought hands-on STEM learning to CarFest, giving children the chance to get creative, build, code and experiment through a range of interactive activities.
From engineering with LEGO, to programming Sphero indi through obstacle courses, to getting hands-on with HP Robots, there was plenty to keep curious minds busy!
It was fantastic to see so many children getting stuck in, testing ideas, figuring things out and, most importantly, having fun while learning.
A big thank you to the Amazon team for bringing this experience to CarFest and to everyone who stopped by to build, code and get creative with us! 🚀

💡 Creating a Space Where Future Skills Can Thrive
When learning environments are designed with purpose, they become so much more than classrooms. They become places where creativity, collaboration and innovation come to life.
Working with St Malachy's College, we delivered a future-ready learning space that gives students access to the latest digital technologies while creating new opportunities for collaboration, creativity and skills development. The hub also supports schools across the North Belfast Area Learning Community, extending its impact far beyond a single classroom.
From the initial concept and design through to installation, training and ongoing support, this project demonstrates how the right learning space can inspire the next generation with the skills they'll need for the future.

🌍 World Youth Skills Day | Building Tomorrow's Workforce Starts Today
Today's World Youth Skills Day is a reminder that developing future skills isn't just the responsibility of schools. It's a shared responsibility between education, industry and communities. This year's theme, Skills for a Shared Future, highlights exactly that.
The skills gap isn't a future challenge - it's already affecting businesses across every sector. The young people who will become tomorrow's engineers, technicians, programmers and innovators are sitting in classrooms today.
That's why meaningful partnerships between businesses and education matter. By giving young people access to hands-on STEM experiences, real-world challenges and industry expertise, we can help build the confidence, curiosity and skills they'll need for the careers of tomorrow.
At Creative Hut, we're proud to work alongside organisations that are investing in the next generation - not just for today's impact, but for the workforce of the future.
