@realgerhardtvdm Today is Day 1,562 of Russia's attempted invasion of Ukraine & despite Putin's plan to have seized Kiev 1,598 days ago @realgerhardtvdm believes that this equates to Putin "winning fast".
Other than confirming he only absorbs Putin's counter narratives, his post seems pointless.
@askaya In past, Cold War & life behind the Iron Curtain didn't play well. Today, crushing of dissent & independent media, imprisonment (& killings) of political opponents to keep Putin in perpetual power, Chechnya, Georgia, Crimea, atrocities in Syria & Africa, & Ukraine play badly too.
@RepLuna A settlement that rewards the aggressor, by forcing the victim to surrender land that has been taken by force, and leaves the aggressor on the victim's territory, is no recipe for peace. Be honest @RepLuna: you've always had a soft spot for 26yrs in power, ex KGB, anti-USA Putin.
@fines7x@mog_russEN No, but many have at Putin's crushing of dissent & independent media, poisoning/imprisoning of political opponents, stage managed sham elections (and, then, changing the constitution) - all to satisfy his self serving quest for perpetual power. We're all living with the results.
@GEP130853@Glenn_Diesen Then discuss, rather than disrupting the discussion by provocatively calling one of its participants a troll, simply because they don't conform to the thinking of your particular silo. If you disagree and have something to say, have the courage to say it.
@RussianEmbassy@SkyNews I certainly hope @RussianEmbassy is correct. Putin's attempted invasion of Ukraine has been a debacle - causing 100,000s of deaths. Putin's campaigns of extra territorial mass murder need to be strategically defeated, otherwise he will simply go on to author more mass tragedies.
@ivan_8848 Putin invites 2 dozen bosses of media groups from outside Russia for a meeting and - true to form - just talks at them. They look uncomfortable. Yet the megalomaniac can't read the room. Self justification of Putin by Putin. Has Russia really got nothing else to offer these days?
@reeser572544@SprinterPress By definition, warmongers launch wars. In Ukraine, that's what Putin has done. No one else has. The 3rd Reich called Churchill a warmonger for defending against Hitler's wars. And you appear to think similarly to them.
@MyLordBebo What utter nonsense. The West bent over backwards to be friends with Russia (offering G20, G8, football World Cup & Winter Olympics). But Putin - on behalf of Russians - responded with Georgia, Crimea, atrocities in Syria & Africa, Ukraine ... . Seriously, what is there to like?
@RussianEmbassy It was a Geran-2 drone tracked with others heading towards Ukraine's Reni, for goodness sake!
Putin poisons Litvinenko in UK ("Unfounded accusations"), the Salisbury poisonings ("Unfounded accusations"), Putin's about to invade Ukraine ("Unfounded accusations")
Liars to the core.
@RickSanchezTV@RickSanchezTV claims that there's a boom in ... Hydrocarbons. That's only due to the world oil price rising, so it's no boom at all. And what else is there in Russia, to boom, other than hydrocarbons? Putin's 26yrs in power has seen the GDP of Russia fall below that of NY State.
@mfa_russia That's just the point #Zakharova: Unlike Russia, with its state controlled media & crushing of public dissension from the Putin line, the West doesn't have a "grip on the media"; it has independent media, meaning that westerners have always had access to diverse news source.
@Boogity8@Glenn_Diesen The sense of entitlement that Putin should be able to demonstrate to the world that no consequences will befall Russia for his latest campaign of extra-territorial mass murder. He was wrong & Russia & the world needs to see it. Putin should end his 4.5yr war.
@Georg_Pazderski@rudolfensi69264 Although nothing compared to the 100,000's of casualties in Ukraine, it was an utter tragedy. At the start of the chain of causation of all these tragedies is one man: 26yrs in power Putin. And such tragedies will continue so long as he continues to prosecute his pointless war.
