I think burning the American flag is grotesque. I think anybody who does that is a piece of shitt. They should be repudiated and humiliated.

But levying a one year mandatory prison sentence for burning the flag is anti-American and unconstitutional. “Hate crimes”, which are not only anti-American and unconstitutional, but also completely made up, blurred those lines. We should be restoring those lines and upholding The Constitution, not slumming it in the gutter with the communists who charged teenagers for skidding out on their gayass chalk art. We’re above that. Burning the flag should be unthinkable, not illegal. And that’s on us, as parents and leaders.
Speech and expression we hate is the speech and expression we need to protect most of all. We don’t have free speech to talk about the weather.

That said, If someone steals a flag and burns it, throw the book at them. Property Rights reign supreme.

Don't you think it's a little ignorant and hateful and judgmental to say that because my experience has been different than yours that I am an awful person?

And I'm not saying that poor people shouldn't buy junk food, I'm saying that if you are accepting government assistance, that that money shouldn't be used on junk food. I look at government assistance like a rainy day fund, you don't use your rainy day fund on getting your nails done, you use it for the essentials.
