@HacknerTyler@KyleKulinski Real answer: because DNC made South Carolina first state in Democratic primary, the state that made Biden president.

@briebriejoy I love you, BJG, but it's time for you to run for office.
We have a glut of online political commentators. I'm tired of y'all just telling us what the problems are without telling us the solutions. Use your influence to get yourself into the halls of power! - Carlos
@briebriejoy Run for office. We have a glut of online political commentators and pundits now, even in independent media. I'm tired of y'all just telling me what the problems are without telling us the solutions. Use your enormous influence to get yourself into the halls of power! - Carlos
Such important and inspiring #leadership as @patagonia owner, Yvon Chouinard, takes the entire company #notforprofit. The inherent circulation of money underpins independence from constant economic growth, paving the way for us to thrive within ecological limits. #postgrowth
@ZeynabDay Wait, really!?! Wow, that would be a great honor!!! I've been following your career for a while now and lament what happened to you (and everyone else involved) with MPP. I sent you a message on LinkedIn.

@profgalloway Welcome, Scott. On an unrelated note, corporations have bought the government and are destroying the world. Please support the Left until we rein in the excesses of capitalism. Then, you can go back to celebrating entrepreneurialism.
Oh, and let's grab coffee sometime.

"i would kill for $15 an hour when I was your age!"
$15 in 1980 = $57 an hour today
$15 in 1990 = $35 an hour today
$15 in 2012 (when the fight for $15 wage began) = $20 an hour today
@NicoleRVasquez Congrats on the book launch, Nicole! Back in college, I founded an RSO called "High Rise" that was about having meaningful conversations. When I graduated, my first internship was at a startup called @MealSharing, which was also about breaking bread with strangers!

1/6: My first business more than a decade ago was a dinner party company that invited people from all different backgrounds to share a meal and have intentional discussions. They were some of the best conversations I ever had and many attendees went on to build things together.
Last week Skylar Dunn-Lubin facilitated a #community#dialogue about how the #pandemic impacted us, ranging from opportunities for radical self-care to feelings of existential loneliness. We discussed how we experienced isolation in unprecedented ways and what we learned from it.
Join us tomorrow for C&C! Long time member Skylar will facilitate a community dialogue about how both self-care and loneliness have shaped our lives. We're gathering at Guild Row again, a “social club for those who give a damn”. How cool is that?!
