JMPD officers arrest two suspects after discovering hijacked vehicle and suspected human organs in Soweto:
Two men have been arrested in Naledi, Soweto, after the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) Tactical Response Unit uncovered a hijacked National Department of Health VW Caddy being stripped at a house during a crime prevention operation on Thursday night.
While searching the property, officers also found two buckets allegedly containing human organs, believed to be hearts and lungs.
The suspects were arrested and detained at Naledi SAPS on charges of possession of a hijacked vehicle and possession of human organs.
Police are investigating the origin of the organs and are searching for the homeowner.
