MAN REMANDED OVER SUSPECTED HUMAN BODY PARTS

A 28-year-old Zimbabwean national, Nyasha Mugodzeri , has been remanded in custody after appearing before Francistown Magistrate Ditebogo Nthuli, facing two counts of unlawful possession of suspected human body parts and entering Botswana through ungazzeted point of entry.

Mugodzeri was apprehended in Shashe-Mooke, Phirinyane Ward, on Sunday, following a tip-off from members of the public.

He is expected back in court on the 18 September.
