But the baseline Mac mini which I have; I can show you all the local models cannot even work through any harness like Hermes let alone Claude Code.

Claude Code is also wired to use the anthropic SDK which has a lot of cool stuff baked into it but definitely isn’t the exact same as pinging a local model. You gotta use a bunch of wild converters and shit that dont exist so you have to make them and then Claude Code outputs garbage and you wasted hours lololol

- Save $X and work with the potato all day. Use the expensive cloud models to tell you what to tell potato. Then you realize the expensive model could have just freakin done it baaaaaaaaahhahaha
