My favorite line from Atomic Habits has been living in my head rent-free:
“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
i hate how social media makes people forget that life has stages. it's normal to be broke, to have broke friends or partners and yes it's even normal to be unemployed at times. these are phases we all go through.
some people are lucky enough to find good jobs at a young age and afford a certain lifestyle. others take longer and that's perfectly okay. we need to stop comparing ourselves and start accepting our journey. i just want all of us to be at peace with where we are in life while still working and striving for better.
According to Jeremiah 29:11, everything is already planned out for your life. Trust God's guidance and have faith that He will lead you toward the path that's meant for you.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE FACING RIGHT NOW.
Isaiah 43:2 says,
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you."
You've cried in private.
You've carried burdens in silence.
You've smiled while your heart was breaking.
But God sees every tear.
What feels like a delay is not the end of your story.
What looks impossible is not beyond His power.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
God never said,
"Do it alone."
He said,
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
So don't let fear speak louder than faith.
The same God who opened the sea for Moses,
protected Daniel in the lions' den,
and raised Lazarus from the grave
is still working on your behalf.
Hold on.
God is preparing a breakthrough you cannot see yet.
Trust Him. His timing is perfect, and His promises never fail..
The Lord says, "Be patient. I am still working. I am not finished with you yet. What I started in you, I will complete. No person can cancel what I have called, chosen, and anointed."
Sometimes God allows hidden things to be exposed so that you can clearly see who and what is truly around you. What was concealed is being revealed. What was hidden is coming into the light.
Even betrayal cannot stop God's plan. What others intended for harm, God will use for your good.
