@demetrimitche11 Thing is players don't have to start to be effective. Some players are better off coming on from the bench to make a difference. As clearly shown from the recent game regarding Scotty. Maguire didn't have a bad game to be fair.

Howson just says it how he sees it and that's criticism...not abuse. Abuse is personal and yes people have given him abuse which I do not condone. But you can't blame individuals for all the abuse he's been given.

@RealMattLeggett @JayMotty There's a line between footballers getting criticism and getting abuse from abrupt, mindless football fans. Guys like Howson don't slam Maguire he has praised and criticised Maguire over his time at united.

Being abusive is wrong. But being critical isn't wrong.

@ESPNUK Southgate can't trust the best talent he has at his disposal... he needs to go. Way too pragmatic, predictable and boring. This team should be winning tournaments, but it's not going to happen unless a progressive manager comes in and plays some exciting, dynamic football

@KobbieSenior @CantonasCoIIar Reguilon actually had a good season at spurs. Just because one manager doesn't really favour them doesn't mean they're not a good player. Would you think of Cancelo the same way? Plus he's a LB. I'd rather have someone playing in a natural position.

Don't think it's a matter of how Erik sets up the team, although every manager has their questionable decisions, it's more of the quality of players. We've brought in the players we needed, we should fare a lot better, hopefully.
