Ugh, I hate to say this… but I think I’m losing my love for the game of golf.

Maybe this is a “season” that will pass, but I find myself waiting for the round to be over after the 11th hole.

I don’t get excited the day before the round anymore.

I’ve played since high school, then most weekends as a casual player in the years after (88-92 type stuff), now once every three weekends/month now that I’m a dad of 2.

Part of it is I’ve been sucking, and the heat in south florida.

But I could legit see myself taking the rest off the year off and picking up a different hobby that isn’t 4-5 hours long each time.

Any other longtime golfers hit this rut?
