@rockdnloaded76@ajsirnewtoe@Hoobachuck@HenryDarrell317@politico You should probably double check your facts when it comes to how your town actually gets funded. My town is 72% property taxes, 20% state funding (for schools only), 8% other (parking tickets, permits, excise taxes, etc).
That’s a state tax. Should check with your state for how they spend the money. It varies by state. Property tax goes directly to your local town/city. Literally the easiest tax to understand because it’s based entirely on what your local town needs to function. No state or federal bureaucracy. Just goes from you to your city to the service it funds.
Talk to your city council and hash it out with them. Property tax is a local issue. Don’t like paying your town for services? Then talk to your neighbors on the city council and start having some of those services cut. Ez pz. Be part of the solution instead of crying to random strangers online.
Actually… yes. There are federal taxes, state taxes, and local taxes. Property tax is a local tax that is paid directly to your city/town. Don’t like how property tax is being spent? Go to a local town meeting. Talk to your neighbors on city council and rally to spend it on better programs. Property taxes too high? Talk to your city and figure out that programs can be cut.
@sivhades I’ve never seen a single pug group run BRD in one sitting… people always broke it up into chunks:
Emperor run, arena runs, jailbreak, MC attunement, coffer runs, bar runs. All of those had different meanings and you needed to know which one had the thing you were looking for.
@Pyrogar1 Because Orcs have an on use DPS cooldown and Human doesn’t. It’s the same reason Tauren and dwarf both get 2% instead of 1% for their passive.
@jwsherrod@drbarnard Yeah, the fact each member of the house would need their own iPhone to engage with the HomeView is why it’s a pointless product. My kids aren’t going to reach over and read a message from a friend on HomeView when they can just reach down and reply from their iPhone…
@RobertJALA@drbarnard A family with 3 children that must have their own iPhones to have a personalized interaction with the HomeView would just use their own iPhones…. My child would NEVER use HomeView to read a message from a friend… they would just use their own phone…
Dumbest product Apple has released in the modern era! Bar none. The commercial showing the family with the 3 children solidified just how dumb and out of touch that product is… each child needs an iPhone and Apple account to access the Homeview features. At that point, each child will just use their own iPhone instead…
It felt staged… if each of those kids have iMessage and Apple accounts then they have iPhones. If they all have iPhones then there is ZERO value in a shared device that doesn’t do anything their phone can’t do. None of my kids would ever try and read a message from their boyfriend on a shared device sitting on the table. They’d respond on their phone.
If my child has iMessage to text their love interest then they certainly would never do it from a device anyone in the family can see… they would use their iPhone. If they don’t have an iPhone then they don’t have iMessage… literally all of those kids would just use their own phones instead of the HomeView for everything that happened.
@neilcybart As a family with kids… that commercial was weird. That video played like a movie fantasy of what a family with 3 kids would be like in the morning with an Apple product that are all clamoring to use….
An RPG change would be if playing a human or dwarf unlocks using that weapon type on your class. Such as human priests using swords or dwarf hunters using maces. After all, if those races specialize in combat with that weapon then it would supersede class based limitations.
Weapon based racial bonuses typically lead to dropping identical axe/sword/mace/dagger weapons from various bosses so that each race doesn't have an "advantage".
Yes, jump over the stopped car in front of you and land on the mother and child crossing the street in front of that car... There is no world where this car ships with the thrusters physically installed or armed. Marketing gimmick at best. Also, they are ridiculously loud... if you were on the sidewalk next to the Tesla kick flipping in the street you would go deaf.
It's less about frequency of changing an item and what happens when you loot the item. If you have a transmog slot you equip the item and keep going in the dungeon/raid/quest. Your gear looks the same as before, no change. If you transmog the item you have a mismatched set of shoulders until you return back to a city (unless they eventually add a transmog mount). Or you purposely don't equip the upgrade until you've had a chance to transom it first.
Did you not read his post before replying: "The alignment was checked by Tesla [after the incident] and it was still correct"
How can you reply to his post with "they botched or not done the alignment". It's VERY CLEAR they did and it AND it still measured correctly. That's some next level head in the sand defending a company.
All the changes perfectly match the comments Xaryu made about what he didn't like with unit frames. He complained that the portrait was not perfectly round and had the "point". The pointed part on bottom was because in Retail most classes have a 3rd resource that is hidden when you only have 2 shown. I think Druids are the only class in forever that benefits from a UI with both resource + class power (seeing mana and rage/energy at the same time).
I can confidently say that no government on the planet is going to approve a vehicle for road use that can jump over traffic with no knowledge or ability to safety judge what's on the other side. Is traffic stopped because a mother and child are crossing the road? The driver can't see before they press the button. You'd need to be a moron if you think what was shown today would ever go into production and be road legal.
