Here’s the key: it’s not your fault that you got knocked down, but it is your responsibility to get back up. When unfair things happen, your move is to go forward in faith, trusting that God will make it up to you.
You have to learn to forgive yourself. The mistake didn’t change your purpose. Don’t let failures and times you got off course cause you to be against yourself. Be as merciful to yourself as you are to others.
You’ve been exceptionally made. God calls you a masterpiece. But when we go through life and we make mistakes, we feel condemned, not valuable. The good news is that underneath the insecurity, the failures, there’s the true you, the one that God created.
What you do in private will determine how high you go in public. If you cut corners, slack-off, do things half-heartedly, then that’s going to keep you from carrying the weight of what God has for you.
You will never rise any higher than the way you see yourself. It doesn’t matter how I see you, how your parents see you, how your neighbors see you. What matters is how you see yourself. Start seeing yourself the way God sees you.
You’re not going to be able to walk through open doors until you close the doors that are behind you. When you hold on to bitterness, regrets, and the mistakes you’ve made, you’ll get stuck.

During Officer Chris Farrar’s service, his K9, Benzo, did this on his own during final pass. This shows the true bond, companionship, love and honor this K9 had for his handler. A dog is more than just a dog...they are a friend until the very end. 💕
