qmeng has done some amazing work on alnst and ive seen their yt clips of their own ocs so i know theyre capable of really intense stuff... its just the direction of no home that i feel unsure about

the no home animation is beautiful and well made but i was kinda surprised that rather than full eps theyre more like vignettes?

for instance even a cliffhanger like haejoon standing on the roof... i feel like it loses punch when the tone up to this point has been silly antics yknow? if its meant to make ppl want to know what happens next, i feel like that's undercut by the anime's overall lack of tension
