@rio_woolf You’ve changed your point then. Your initial point was competing financially, which I challenged. If your issue is with our ability to hire the right people then I wouldn’t have commented
@rio_woolf It’s the normal misconception that spending money = success. Hull City are playing in the premier league and didn’t spend over £1m on any player last season
@HornWendover@LucaBendoni@thewatfordway Didn’t work out so badly for Hull last season ! Spending money doesn’t equate to success. Nor does not spending money equate to failure. Our recent issues have been not buying the right mix of players. Lots complain about Selvik and now complain we are going for a keeper!
@PeteAmbers@WatfordFC I don’t think this is the biggest divide between fans and owners personally. Was worse under Petchey and Bassini for me. It’s just amplified by a number on social media.
@PeteAmbers@WatfordFC You said it’s never been in a worse state, which is not true. Wanting a new ownership is a different point. No idea who is queuing up to buy us though for that to change.
@PeteAmbers@WatfordFC If you’ve been a season ticket holder for 45 years, it definitely has been worse. You forgetting buckets to collect change from fans?
@AdamJoseph Ed Woodward would have loved to do those 2 deals. Both players are in prime / younger than prime and will excel. Assume as a Man Utd fan would would rather the signings be 33 and on £300k a week. Why have bigger clubs allowed Spurs to close gap with these 2 signings
@CiaoGinowfc@androofrench This probably says more about your approach than anything else. Why would you need to resort to being abusive instead of having a debate and accepting that others may have an alternative view
@androofrench My biggest issue is the views on the ownership are too sensationalist. Of course there is a lot which can be better about the ownership and approach. However there are lots that could be worse in terms of the quality of the team, financials and continued support
@WatfordFC@EFL My son absolutely loved meeting the players in the fan zone. When I was a kid the players would sign autographs as they came out to warm up. These days that has gone, so any initiative for kids to meet there hero’s is amazing
