@brandenflasch I will buy as much range as companies are willing to sell in something that is not a football field long (<16ft?). Obviously there are density issues but I would have paid R1S money for an R2 “Max” pack (88->109?)
@mike_poret@Rivian I recommend a nice stroll south, Laguna Coffee Company has been known to have a manufacturer plate appear from time to time 😉 our favorite coffee too!
Gina’s meatballs and ricotta balls are also great, especially if can get the ocean view balcony spots
@RivianTrackr I love them except for garage control which I’m a little better than a coin toss at until I’ve got the wheel turned and have no reference point!
@SnazzyLabs I got to do a ~30 min drive in “Slate” mode where only the RTOS was on. Everything blank but speed and battery symbol but no %. Interesting experience going back to barebones to say the least 😅
Nobody is ever in a hurry at a Rechargery... except him.
Everyone else is stretching their legs, sipping their coffee, and taking their time. He's already three steps ahead, nose leading the way to whatever is more interesting than standing still.
There's always room for one more furry co-pilot. Drop a 🐾 if yours has never met a smell not worth investigating.
Drain wasn’t too bad considering it had to get back from 50F+ to below freezing and I had it in max mode. I’ll have to get a test setup for eco mode + Starlink mini before some fall camping trips
Turned on the timer setting for now to make sure it plays nicely with the voltage protection settings and get a gauge for drain. The fridge even in eco is a bit hungry, drained the 4xe a few times, twice with a battery tender on and even while L1 charging!
@elis I’ve seen at least two different plates in SD. One of my favorite pics from a Waymo in SF was being behind this old car. Impressed it could do the hills. ~100 year gap?
