What’s next? UofT will most likely go ahead with these reductions unless we organize against them. @cupe3902's Unit 1’s current collective agreement expires December 2023, but we’ll be electing our bargaining team in a few months. (14/15)

Exactly! Shame on @uoft for cutting physical health benefits BECAUSE workers are using their mental health benefits!!

Increased access to mental health service by workers is the leading cause for this overspend. @uoft proposing to cut mental health coverage by 10% is incredibly bad for their image as an institution committed to mental health and wellness. (10/15)

One healthcare expense stood out: mental health services (therapy). Usage went from $416k per year in 2019 to $1.2MILLION in 2022!!! An increase of 287% in just 4 years! More and more Unit 1 members are seeking mental health services. Here's line graph with therapy in blue (6/15)
