Starting this weekend the @DSFS_Ltd Estates department will be making some alterations to the Equipment Library, the work is expected to last until the end of the month. The areas affected will be cordoned off and we will try to keep any disruptions to a minimum
The Equipment Library is in the process of having a slight makeover which will result in a few items being moved around within the Library, we will try and keep disruptions and changes to a minimum

Today someone brought a bag of T34 syringe drivers back to us from a local nursing home.. 1 of which we haven’t seen since 2016… thank you to the person who returned the units to us.
Today Philips, supported by the team, finished the installation of replacement patient monitors on ITU & HDU to update & enhance the technology used in these critical areas.
We have recently had a number of our Flocare Infinity Feed pumps returned to us without their power supply’s. If anyone finds one can they return them to us please

The team have done a great job finding and exchanging the blood pressure connectors and cuffs on the Dinamaps however there are still some devices we cannot find. If you have any tucked away in cupboards could you please make them available. Contact the department for queries
Big week ahead in #ClinicalEngineering. One of the team will be visiting with a GE Healthcare engineer to replace the connectors and cuffs on your Dinamp blood pressure monitors over the next few days. For queries contact x2058 ^AM
The blood pressure changes will only affect the GE Healthcare Dinamap and Carescape range (pictured) of blood pressure monitors. They do not affect any other devices. For queries contact Clinical Engineering. ^AM
Starting Monday our team will be assisting GE Healthcare in replacing the existing blood pressure tubesets and cuffs to the new Dinaclick system. Some areas will be changing to single patient use cuffs, which will be provided at the switch over, with replacements going on top up.
To allow greater accessibility and flexibility the fantastic @CRH_ITPrograms have helped make the @DSFS_Ltd Equipment Library’s On-Line request form and the Hospitals RFID equipment tracking system accessible via the Trusts E-Obs iPads.
We are pleased to welcome a new piece of equipment to the Equipment Library.. The Hoverjack system is available to assist trained staff help lift fallen patients up off the floor. For further information contact @CRHFalls
Also taught the first 5 staff members in the Trust how to use our new Hoverjack!! They were very impressed! Obviously hoping we don’t have to use it too much 😳 but great to have 👍🏼
