@tomfgoodwin I read a book from the mid-90s or so making predictions about the world in 2025. It identified the growing audience of older consumers, but looking back, it was charmingly naive in thinking anyone would do anything about it (esp. around accessibility, large print text etc)

@_alice_evans @washingtonpost Something I’ve always been curious about is whether the algorithm has to know if you are male or female, or it can effectively figure that out through your scrolling habits anyway (same vein as Tesco clubcard knowing you’re pregnant before you do!)
