Now here is the problem. They went to court and he won. Are we now saying that the judiciary is comprised? I don't hold any brief for this guy, but due process of law has been followed.
What an absolute joke. Why pretend that we have a government or a court that actually cares or listens?
Anything that happens to us, we are sorry. It is our fault. Thank you for forgiving us and letting us live.
The @BJP4India’s so called “invincibility” takes ANOTHER BIG HIT. The public mood has clearly swung. And swung BIG. The imperious @narendramodi government has stopped listening to the people and the people are hitting back. https://t.co/pJXuoxBv1T
Prashant Kishor’s Bankipur win is more than a bypoll result.
For BJP: Losing Nitin Nabin’s stronghold after a candidate mess and low turnout (34%) shows that captive upper-caste votes are no longer permanent.
For Tejashwi: RJD is no longer the default opposition. Even MY arithmetic and muslim votes cannot be taken for granted.
For Bihar: A new political force is in the making with street credibility.
One seat. Big message. The old binary is cracking….and as Bihari GenZ says “Bihar is not for beginners”
The problem with Congress is they always outsource the agenda to someone else. Now the bet is in Gen Z. Well guess what voting is never uniform. It's what appeals to each individual. Work hard to convince and win and not hope for some default to work in your favor.
BJP losing Bankipur (Bihar) and Datia (MP) is a big sign of the party heading for disaster in future elections.
BJP is losing from strongholds, when they are in power at both state and centre, that too with unlimited money, Godi media and institutional “vote Chori” power.
To lose from their national president’s seat is humiliating. Nitin Nabin 🤡
Shah and Modi would already know that it’s just the beginning. Wait for the Gen Z backlash to begin at the booth. BJP will be wiped out.
@BJP4India Targeting young students for what bb they say will hit back hard on the party. I don't know what @narendramodi himself thinks about it , but there has to be sound response and not sending cops and threaten legal action. Very silly, poor strategy.
@BJP4India continues to understand what the people are thinking. So silly to target people , especially students for their reels. Sure the language may be inappropriate, but a politician needs to be thick skinned to absorb the feedback. Party and supporters need to back down.
This where all your taxes go. Every woman, in every state now gets some cash benefit. Has it helped churn the economy? Logic suggests it should.. somehow this money has to bump up consumption. Has it benefited the women? No clue
#WATCH | Delhi CM Rekha Gupta says, "Today is a moment of great joy for all of us. We have fulfilled a promise made to the sisters of Delhi during today’s Cabinet meeting. We have approved the ‘Delhi Lakshmi Yojana,’ a scheme designed to empower the sisters of Delhi by providing them with financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month. The online portal for this scheme will be launched on August 1. Eligible sisters will be able to apply, and following the application and verification process, I believe we will be able to disburse the first instalment to the initial batch of beneficiaries by Raksha Bandhan. It is truly a happy occasion for the sisters of Delhi that our government has accomplished this within just over a year of assuming office. All sisters who fall within the eligible category will be able to avail themselves of the benefits of this scheme..."
@ProfBasudev So why was NEET not computer based ? Why have a different system especially after the leak a couple of years back ? Someone must have lobbied hard for pen and paper exam
Need to break down the 21 L into how many seriously attempted and had the aptitude.
A mere look at nos of applications is not enough. Statistics around the score obtained will be very interesting to gain insights into this.
In India people apply because it's the thing to do.
While Exam reforms are fine
Please understand
If the supply is of 136000 seats and Demand is of 2300000 seats
21 Lakh plus students are going to get disappointed in any case.
Any amount of exam simplification is not going to solve this.
Focus should be two fold
1. Try and increase intake. However this can only be incremental
2. Encourage alternative fields of studies and focus on creating employment opportunities there.
If stringent laws could deter people (exam leaks for example) there would be no crime. It’s not the law stupid! It is the criminal justice system and its ability and certainty to punish criminals that can deter crime, if at all. So don’t hold your breath that the anti cheating bill will stop exam leaks

Neither the govt nor the oppn and certainly not the cockroaches have the foggiest idea on how to fix the education system. If their solution is passing a law and forcing a resignation of a feckless minister then we are all so screwed.
@DKShivakumar Sir we have similar expectations from you. Hope is that you will deliver, and not just tweet. So far besides clearing footpath, can you tell us what's been achieved. That by the way is what GBA should have always been doing. We are praising Govt for doing their job.
The problem with all this is that people are happy Pradhan resigned. No one is questioning the leak itself. That's the real deal, that's what needs to be fixed. Not some resignation. Else this could be revolving door for ministers. That's why it's political, not reformative.
'Congratulations to the entire country on Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. Big win for democracy,' says former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday tendered his resignation amid the ongoing protests over the NEET paper leak.
