Even if India miraculously win in NZ and Sri Lanka Tests later this year, they will still need to win 3 Tests vs Australia to make it to the WTC final.

Knowing that they will need to play in venues where they "KNOW" what to expect from pitch and need full house crowds behind them, BCCI still chose to keep it in venues with little data available for India to prepare and with high chances of stadiums being half empty.

I am all for giving white ball games to all venues. But Tests? That too as big as INDIA VS AUSTRALIA!! deserve iconic venues like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.

The goal is not even to give the home team the best possible chance to make it to the WTC final. Politics and influence of office bearers overpowering India's aspirations of silverware.

Sad pathetic state of Indian cricket.
