@RocketLeeArt @CEOofConfidence I think they say it’s fanfic due to the fact that the studio didn’t follow Arakawa’s (the original author) take but instead do it their own way based on what she created beforehand. 03 is beautifully made but it lwk “fanfiction” in someway - and fanfic can be good too.

@CEOofConfidence Personally I don’t like 03 as much as FMAB cuz of ending, the CoS movie and how they treat Riza but the art is really good, they set the mood way better than brotherhood and the villians has a lot of depth and explore the dark theme about Alchemy better so you can just have a try
