A tragic incident occurred on June 10, resulting in the loss of a young life during an operational response to an armed robbery. The Department extends its deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and reaffirms its absolute commitment to transparency, departmental accountability, and the strict adherence to the Rule of Law.
On the night of June 10, at approximately 11:45 PM, CCD personnel intervened during an armed robbery in progress. Armed robbers had intercepted a family vehicle, holding the occupants at gunpoint. During the ensuing confrontation, an exchange of gunfire occurred after the suspects opened fire on the responding officer. In the ensuing chaos, the officer involved mistakenly assessed that the suspects were attempting to flee in the victims' vehicle and discharged his weapon. This erroneous decision resulted in the tragic death of 10-year-old Hania and injuries to her father and brother.
CCD emphasizes that the conduct of the officer involved represents a grave deviation from our established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the legal standards governing the use of force. Consequently, the following actions were taken immediately:
The officer was suspended from service and taken into custody on the same day. He was later arrested and has since been produced before a court of law and remanded to judicial custody.
An FIR was registered immediately upon the complaint of the victim’s father. Forensic evidence, including the officer's weapon and spent cartridges, have been secured and processed.
The Department is maintaining daily communication with the affected family to provide updates on the investigation’s progress. The family has expressed satisfaction with the pace and transparency of the ongoing legal process.
CCD remains governed by a strict Code of Conduct that mandates restraint and the proportionate use of force. We recognize that our primary duty is the protection of human life, and any failure to adhere to the principle of "minimum force" is treated with the highest level of legal and departmental accountability.
We are deeply saddened by this tragedy. While our personnel operate in high-risk environments, there is no justification for a departure from our protocols. We are conducting a thorough, impartial investigation to ensure that justice is served. CCD remains steadfast in its duty to protect the public and will continue to hold its personnel to the highest standards of professional conduct.
The CCD reiterates its unwavering support for the victims’ family and its dedication to an expeditious legal conclusion to this case.

ویسے امریکہ آنے سے ایک رات پہلے انہی کے گھر میں رات 12:30am سے تقریبا رات 2 بجے تک میری اور خان صاحب کی ون آن ون ملاقات ہوئی تھی۔ جس میں بہت سارے میر صادق اور میر جعفروں کا زکر اور notes exchange ہوئے تھے۔ تب تک خان صاحب کو بہت سوں کی حقیقت کا پتہ چل چکا تھا۔ اس آخری میٹنگ کی تصاویر بھی موجود ہیں۔ چاہیئے ہوئیں تو بتا دیجیے گا۔

رہی بات شہزاد اکب�� کی تو انہوں نے کیوں استعفی دیا تھا اس بات کا نہ آپکو علم ہے نہ ہو سکتا ہے۔ اس کا علم صرف دو لوگوں کو تھا ایک پرنسپل سیکرٹری اعظم خان اور دوسرا شہباز گل۔ آپ پارٹی پوزیشن میں بہت جونئیر تھے۔ آپکے سامنے انکو کب ہٹایا گیا۔ آپکا وزیر اعظم آفس سے تو کوئی دور دور تک لینا دینا نہیں تھا۔ عمران خان گرفتار ہونے سے ایک دن پہلے تک شہزاد اکبر سے رابطے میں تھے۔

چلیں آپکا یہ مسلہ تو حل کر دیا۔ ویسے یہ نان ایشو تھا۔

🇵🇰 11 killed in Pakistan-administered Kashmir

At least 11 people were killed and dozens wounded Sunday when police clashed with supporters of the outlawed Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Rawalakot, a day before a planned rally demanding greater political rights and the abolition of 12 legislative seats reserved for Indian Kashmiri refugees living in Pakistan.

Among the dead were 4 police officers, a bystander, and 6 protesters, Poonch Commissioner Sardar Waheed Khan told Reuters. JAAC leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir described the violence as a “massacre” and said the group would proceed with Tuesday’s rally. Other reports suggested an even higher death toll.

🚨Rebellion Erupts Against Munir–Shehbaz Alliance in AJ&K: Shutdown, Protests & Army Firing

A major uprising is underway across Pakistani administered Kashmir known as Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) as thousands have taken to the streets against the Pakistani government and military. Protests and a complete shutdown are ongoing in Rawalakot, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bhimber, Dadyal, Palandri, and Sudhnoti.

In Rawalakot, demonstrations began around 11 a.m., with protesters blocking the main road. Pakistani police, army personnel, and Rangers responded with live firing, pellet guns, and tear gas. At least seven people were injured when security forces opened fire on protesters moving from Bhimber toward Rawalakot.

In Kotli, large crowds are chanting slogans against the Pakistani military, with groups marching toward Rawalakot. In Dadyal, massive anti-army demonstrations are visible on the roads. The shutdown has paralyzed AJ&K — markets and businesses remain closed in all major cities including Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Kotli, Bhimber, and Dadyal.

In Palandri, protesters displayed tear gas shells fired by security forces. In Sudhnoti, demonstrators carrying timber sticks issued warning messages to the Pakistani government and military. Clashes have now begun at Neelum Bridge in Muzaffarabad, with visuals of firing emerging as tensions escalate.

What are the protesters demanding?

A 38-point charter of demands, including:

· Cheaper electricity, flour, rice, and pulses
· Reduced electricity rates from hydropower projects like Mangla Dam — built on AJ&K land, which protesters argue is not part of Pakistan
· Removal of 12 "refugee" seats in the AJ&K Legislative Assembly

The 12-seat controversy:

These seats are reserved for individuals who migrated from Indian-administered Kashmir but now live in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Karachi — not in AJ&K. Protesters ask: how can non-residents be voters and legislators here? Protesters claim that Pakistani military establishment and intelligence apparatus uses these seats to control the government in AJ&K

Allegedly Pakistan's military uses these 12 seats (out of 45) to elect proxies, often militant leadership, and their family members. This allows the ISI and military to break away legislators and install their choice of prime minister whenever needed.

This is not the first protest:

Last October, a similar movement left 31 people dead. PM Shehbaz Sharif sent Rana Sanaullah to negotiate. Of 38 demands, 21 were accepted — but after eight months, none have been implemented. Instead, authorities have resumed firing on demonstrators.

The "Butcher of Lahore" in AJ&K:

Brigadier Faiq Ayub, now ISI Sector Commander in AJ&K, was previously Sub-Sector Commander Punjab — where he earned the nickname "Butcher of Lahore" for a violent crackdown on former PM Imran Khan's party PTI. He was handpicked and posted to AJ&K by Field Marshal Asim Munir. Since his arrival, military repression has intensified dramatically.

As of June 9, 2 p.m., reportedly 57 civilians have been killed in military firing over the past eight months.

What began as a protest over bread and butter has now become a direct challenge to military rule in AJ&K.

ایسا ظلم جس کی مثال شاید دنیا کے بدترین خطوں میں بھی نہ ملے۔ تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ غزہ میں اپنوں اور بیگانوں نے مظالم کی داستانیں رقم کیں، لیکن آج یہاں اپنوں کے ہاتھوں اپنوں کے ساتھ ہو رہا ہے۔ یہ کیسا المیہ ہے کہ کلمہ گو، مسلمان کہلانے والے ہی آج مسلمانوں پر ظلم کے پہاڑ توڑ رہے ہیں؟
۔ قانون اور فورسز، جن کا کام شہریوں کی جان و مال کا تحفظ کرنا تھا، آج انہی کے خلاف صف آراء دکھائی دیتے ہیں۔ دل یہ سوال پوچھنے پر مجبور ہے کہ آخر ان فورسز کو اپنے ہی لوگوں کا خون بہانے کا حکم کون دے رہا ہے؟ وہ کون سے چ��رے ہیں جو پردے کے پیچھے بیٹھ کر اس ظلم کی ڈوریاں ہلا رہے ہیں؟
یہاں سب سے بڑا جرم سچ بولنا بن چکا ہے۔ جو کوئی بھی مظلوم کے حق میں، ��چائی اور انصاف کے لیے آواز اٹھاتا ہے، اسے خاموش کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ حق کی آواز اٹھانے والے کا مقدر یا تو گمنام سلاخیں بنتی ہیں، یا پھر اس کی لاش بھی اپنوں کو نصیب نہیں ہوتی۔ لیکن تاریخ گواہ ہے کہ ظلم کی رات جتنی بھی لمبی ہو، کبھی دائمی نہیں ہوتی، اور ناحق بہنے والے خون کا ایک ایک قطرہ ایک دن حساب ضرور مانگتا ہے۔
آج عوام جس بے حسی، ظلم اور پروپیگنڈے کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں، اس نے ہر ذی شعور انسان کو جھنجھوڑ کر رکھ دیا ہے۔ صورتحال اس قدر بھیانک اور غیر متوقع ہو چکی ہے کہ لوگ یہ سوچنے پر مجبور ہیں کہ عام شہریوں پر یہ وحشیانہ تشدد کرنے والے آخر ہیں کون؟ کیا یہ اپنے ہیں یا کہیں باہ�� (اسرائیل یا بھارت) سے بھیجی گئی کوئی بیرونی قوتیں ہیں جنہیں عوام پر مسلط کر دیا گیا ہے؟ کیونکہ کوئی بھی اپنوں کے ساتھ ایسا سلوک نہیں کر سکتا۔
اس پورے بحران میں سب سے زیادہ افسوسناک کردار حکمرانوں اور میڈیا کا ہے۔ عوام کے دکھوں کا مداوا کرنے کے بجائے حکمران کہیں منظرِ عام سے غائب ہیں، اور میڈیا حقائق دکھانے کے بجائے دن رات جھوٹی رپورٹنگ اور پروپیگنڈے میں مصروف ہے۔ سچ کو چھپایا جا رہا ہے اور مظلوم کی داد رسی کرنے والا کوئی نہیں۔
سب سے بڑا دھچکا اور المیہ یہ ہے کہ وہ قیادت اور فورسز، جن کا تذکرہ کچھ دن پہلے تک دنیا بھر میں امن قائم کرنے اور بڑی جنگیں رکوانے کے حوالے سے فخر سے کیا جا رہا تھا، آج وہی طاقتیں اپنوں اور خاص طور پر کشمیریوں کے خلاف استعمال ہو رہی ہیں۔ فورسز بھیج کر مظلوموں کا سرِعام قتلِ عام کروایا جا رہا ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں نفرتوں میں مزید اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ یہ پالیسیاں ملک کو مضبوط کرنے کے بجائے مزید کمزور کر رہی ہیں۔
آج انصاف کے ترازو الٹے ہو چکے ہیں۔ وہ عام عوام جو صرف اپنے بنیادی حقوق، روٹی، کپڑے، مکان اور امن کی بات کرتی ہے، اسے پلک جھپکتے میں "دہشت گرد" اور "غدار" قرار دے دیا جاتا ہے۔ دوسری طرف، جو لوگ سرِعام قانون کی دھجیاں اڑا رہے ہیں، گولیوں کی بوچھاڑ کر رہے ہیں اور معصوموں کا خون بہا رہے ہیں، انہیں "محافظ" کا لقب دیا جاتا ہے۔
عوام کے دلوں سے آج یہ سوال چیخ چیخ کر نکل رہا ہے: کیا ایسے ہوتے ہیں محافظ؟ کیا محافظوں کا کام اپنے ہی لوگوں کے خون سے ہولی کھیلنا ہوتا ہے؟ جب محافظ ہی جارح بن جائیں، تو پھر عوام کس سے انصاف کی امید رکھیں؟

ہم تمام شہداء کے لیے مغفرت، زخمیوں کے لیے جلد صحت یابی اور متاثرہ خاندانوں کے لیے صبرِ جمیل کی دعا کرتے ہیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کشمیر پر اپنا رحم فرمائے، امن و سکون عطا کرے اور حق و انصاف کی راہیں آسان فرمائے_آمین 🤲🏻
